ZHANGJIAJIE (Hunan province) - Tianmen Mountain
Tianmen Mountain is a natural park located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Hunan Province, China. It is famous for “The Gate of Heaven” a cave formed naturally by erosion, measures just over 130 meters high by 30 wide, and can be split from the same city of Zhangjiajie.The Tianmenshan Temple is located at the summit, with chairlift or footpath access. The original temple there was built during the Tang dynasty and was destroyed during the first part of the 20th century.
